She leaves one nephew, David Hazard of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister who died in childbirth, a brother Allyn Hazard and her husband.Donations may be made to the local YMCA. The family plans to honor her by walking around the Los Alamos High School track for 86 minutes at 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2012. All Bar Nothings, Cyclones and anyone who knew Jan or would like to begin a life of challenge are invited to join the family. Refreshments will be served after the walk.
