Janet RoushRockwell CityJanet Norene Roush 82, of Rockwell City, formerly of Des Moines and Phoenix, Az, passed away Tuesday Jan 31st at Riverside North Care facility in Ames, Ia. A memorial service will be held on April 29th, 11 am at Bloomfield United Methodist Church in Des Moines with a luncheon to follow.Janet is survived by her children, Kathy (Jim) Corey of Rockwell City, Kimberly (Dave) Allen of Des Moines and William Roush Jr of Phoenix, AZ; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her brother William (Sherrie) Durham of Swan. She was preceded in death by her husband William, daughter Kristi Roush; parents Thomas and Sarah Durham, siblings Emma Jean, Darlene, Donald,Thomas and Larry.Janet was born on December 17th, 1934 in Dallas, Ia. She was united in marriage to the love of her life William Roush on Feb. 6th 1954 in Osceola, Ia. Janet worked over 20 years for Hy-Vee where she held numerous positions.They made their home in Des Moines until moving to Phoenix in 1988 where they managed rental properties. In August of 2013 they moved back to Iowa to be closer to friends and family.
