Janet MerrittROSEVILLE: Janet Merritt, 77, of Roseville, passed away at 8:09 p.m. Sun. May 8, 2016 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born on July 30, 1938 in Suffern, New York, a daughter of the late Henry Jay and Ethel Bell (Ringle) Rodermond. She was a legal secretary for Gottlieb, Johnston, Beam, & Dal Ponte Attorneys At Law, Attorney Miles Fries, and Attorney Kevin Van Horn. She was a member of Rhema House of Worship, the Pieceable Quilter's Guild, the Women's Auxillary at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed her horse Fancy, her chocolate Labrador Retrievers Luke and Tucker, and spending time with her family.She is survived by her children Kathleen Talk, Michael (Sandra) Merritt, and Kimberly Merritt. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. One sister Nettie Tucker. Several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Merritt. One brother Timothy Rodermond.Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wed. May 11, 2016 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thur. May 12, 2016. Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating.
