Janet Kay Sandefur-Yost, 58, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 in Killeen, Texas. Services are pending with Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

She was born May 26, 1961 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Thomas and Frances Sandefur. Janet married Charlie Mark Yost on October 16, 1987 in Gainesville, Texas. Janet was a very outgoing and nurturing mother who loved to watch Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, and any Sci-Fi shows she could find. She loved canoeing down the Elk River and listeniing to Oldies music. Janet loved to snuggle with her fur-baby, Piper, under a heated blanket. She also loved to collect knick-knacks, specifically salt and pepper shakers, and also loved all things purple.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth of Madison, Alabama, Danielle Phomsopha and husband Johnny of Copperas Cove, Texas; son Thomas Yost and wife Bridget of Copperas Cove, Texas; step-children Michelle Jenkins and husband Brad of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and Charlie Yost and wife Tara of Meeker, Oklahoma; brother Jerry Sandefur of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; sister, Diana Sigl of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Frances Sandefur; one sister, Lori Norman; and one brother, Danny Sandefur.
