Massey, 78, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.Janet was born on March 22, 1939, in Montgomery County, TN to the late William Finis Hunt and Sadie Augusta Sheppard Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Charles M. Massey; daughter, Kim Massey Campbell; brother, William Thomas Hunt; and two sisters, Augusta Hunt Fabrizi and Sally Hunt Williams.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Christiano Nunes officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.Janet was a lifetime Catholic and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a wonderful teacher, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, who was much beloved by her family.Janet is survived by her son, Charles "Matt" (Collier) Massey, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Jan Massey Swift of Parrish, FL; son-in-law, Don Campbell of Princeton, KY; brother, Joseph (Pat) Hunt of Mt.
