It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Susan Hurley on August 11, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. She was born on January 17, 1963 and is predecesed by her parents, James Stephen Hurley and Mildred Florence Higgens, and her brother, James S Hurley Jr.

Jane is survived by her loving brother, Brian C Hurley, her significant other of 30 years, James Grant Sinnott, her children, Emma Thomas (James Thomas) and Tabytha Hill (Michael Hill), her four beloved grandchildren Brianna Reed, Bella Vera Jane Thomas, Asa Grant Hill, and Aria Jade Hill, her nieces, and her very loved cat, Tygr. She was a cherished family member to all. She had 3 cats and 3 dogs throughout her adult life who were very much her family members, very well cared for, and at the center of her heart. She attended Roger Ludlow High School and graduated in 1981, going on to further her education at Housatonic Community College and Connecticut College.

Jane dedicated many years of her life to her career as an office manager after closing her beloved womens retail clothing store, Lily's Fine Apperal of Fairfield, CT. She moved to Florida in 2017 to be closer to her children. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She had an innate ability to be positive in any situation and keep others uplifted. She was a true best friend and the most supportive person you could meet.

Jane Hurley will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
