Jana Kristine Vogel, age 34, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family.Jana was born on September 7, 1983, in Green Bay to Glen and Debbie (Jeske) Reinke. She graduated from Peshtigo High School and attended UW-Oshkosh where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Jana married Kevin Vogel on August 15, 2009 in Oshkosh.She was employed by the Oshkosh School District as a 4-K teacher. Jana enjoyed reading in her free time when she could find it. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.Jana is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Tenley and Lennon; parents, Glen and Debbie Reinke; sister, Erin (Dan) Kelm; mother- in-law, Bev (Jay) Deppe; father-in-law, Steven (Cindy) Vogel; and maternal grandmother, Pat Jeske.She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Margaret Reinke; and maternal grandfather, Ralph Jeske.Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) in Oshkosh from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a service to follow. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Jana's family to help offset expenses.
