James William Patterson, 51, of Independence, Mo., passed away Nov. 21, 2016.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, 816-252-7900.James was born on October 1, 1965, in Chicago, Ill. He attended Van Horn High School. James was employed for many years at Prose as an installer. James loved his family above all else and took special pride in his children and grandchildren. He loved movies, cars, motorcycles and football.Survivors include daughters, Valerie Patterson, Aisha Patterson, Tina Patterson, Marieann Patterson, Mia Patterson and Lexi Fisher; sons, Nicholas Jones and Levi Fisher; 8 grandchildren; parents, Dale Patterson (Rose) and Patricia Pool (Noel); sisters, JoDale Doelling, Jackie Sackewitz and Rebecca Patterson; brothers, Jason Pool, Randall Patterson and Mark McDonald; a large extended family and many friends.
