Wahl Sr., JamesAfter a protracted battle with cancer, James Emerson Wahl Sr. died on June 27, 2017 in Durham, NC at the age of 59. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years Rose Wahl, Children, James Jr., Jeffrey, Bryan & Jacqueline & Brittany & Danny Pinney, Grandchildren; Kevin, Michala, Cameron, Sofia, Aubrey & Jaydin, Sister Sue & David Elble, numerous nieces & nephews, his best friends Jeff & Jack Simek.James was born on Dec.12, 1957 in Binghamton NY, to his predeceased parents Emerson & Enid Wahl.James married Rose Solyian on Sept. 27, 1980, they settled down in Apalachin NY, where James worked primarily in Sales, lived & raised their 4 children.James was a driven professional with a love of cars, electronics, fireworks, food, traveling to beaches & floating on the open ocean. When diagnosed with cancer in 2005, he remained dedicated in his work & in his will to fight his illness. He remained a brave, iron-willed man, even throughout his final days. Per James's final wishes there will be no viewing or service. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers. Donations can be made in James's name to the .
