James W. Nixon Jr. was born to the late James and Lenora Nixon on January 20, 1954, in Boynton Beach, Florida. After a brief illness he departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach. He was a retired employee from the city of Boynton and a United States veteran. On July 21, 1979, he was united in holy matrimony to Shierly Johnson. Born to this union were three children: Franklin Nixon (Carmen) of Boynton Beach, Jamesetta Nixon-Williams (Lester) of Delray and Jonell Nixon. Extending the union were five grandchildren; Frankecia, Charlotte, and Jonell Jr. of Boynton Beach. Jessie and Jamie Williams of Delray. Further extending the union is one great-grandchild; Jasmine Nixon of Delray FL. Others mourning his passing are very many precious relatives and some very dear friends who have touched his life in so many very special ways.
