James Thomas, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on September 22, 2024, in his home in Gary, Indiana, at the age of 65. He was born on June 5, 1959, to Dorothy and Michael Thomas, who preceded him in death.

James was a proud member of the Gary community, where he lived most of his life. He was known for his kind and generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. James had a passion for fixing cars and caring for others. He brought joy to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn, and his children, Joseph, Marlon, Talisha, and Kevin. He was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first. James was a pillar of strength and support for his loved ones, and his absence will leave a void in their lives that can never be filled.
