James Brooks, 79, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on June 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 27, 1944, to Jeron and Rosemary Brooks, James lived a full and vibrant life.

He attended West Milwaukee High School, graduating in 1963, before beginning a successful career in mechanical manufacturing. James retired in 1978, allowing him more time to indulge in his favorite hobbies.

James was a devoted father to his children Mary and Gladger, and a doting grandfather to his three grandchildren. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

In his free time, James could often be found fishing at his favorite spot, hitting the golf course with friends, or cheering on his favorite basketball team. He had a passion for life and a contagious smile that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

James will be remembered for his sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
