james sylvester jacks Obituary

Mar 06, 1940 - Apr 30, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

James Jacks, beloved husband, father, and avid fisherman, passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 84 in Raleigh, Mississippi. Born on March 6, 1940 to John and Mildred Jacks, James lived a full and adventurous life.

James served his country proudly in the Army as a Sergeant, before retiring to pursue his love of fishing, hunting, and swimming. He could often be found casting a line into his favorite fishing hole or regaling his family with tales of his hunting adventures.

James is survived by his partner in crime, Annie Pearl Jacks, his three children Joyce Wells, Jeanette Gross, and Felicia Jacks, and his four grandchildren. While we may never know their names, we do know that James loved them dearly and enjoyed spoiling them whenever possible.

James will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and his ability to tell a story like no one else. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, James, and may your fishing lines always be tight and your hunting grounds always be plentiful.

You can to the family or in memory of james jacks.
