James Silas, 50, of Thibodeaux, Louisiana, passed Thursday, August 09, 2018. James was born to Julia's Silas, and Martha Silas, July 24, 1968, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, along with two older brothers, Joseph Silas and Josh Silas, both of Thibodeaux LA.

James graduated from South Terrabone School and worked as a welder until he retired in 2012.

James is survived by his wife, Mildred Silas, of 10 years along with 3 children: Gitano King (Kimberly King), Jordan Silas, and James Gallow. He also is survived by 4 grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
