James Hersh, beloved son of Marvin and Joan Hersh, partner of Cathy Cunningham, and avid fisherman, passed away on January 6, 2024, in Parker, Colorado, at the age of 55.

James was a graduate of Arapahoe High School, class of 1986, where he was known for his quick wit and infectious laugh. He later dedicated his time to helping those in need through his work with the Denver Rescue Mission organization.

When not lending a helping hand, James could often be found with a fishing rod in hand, reeling in the big catch of the day. His love of the outdoors and passion for fishing brought him countless hours of joy and relaxation.

Though James had no children of his own, he was a mentor and friend to many. His kind heart and sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

While James may have left this world too soon, we take solace in knowing that he is now at peace, fishing in the great beyond. Rest in peace, James. Until we meet again.
