LUCASJames M. Lucas, 78, of Fairfield, OH, formerly of Erlanger, KY, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017. He was born on January 17, 1939, in Covington, KY, to the late Raymond G. and Anne Penn Lucas. A brother, Ray Lucas, predeceased him in 2006. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves. Jim worked in Finance and Counseling for 60 years and was a member of Credit Professionals International for 35 years. His true calling was for Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger where he co-founded the Lloyd Alumni Association and was its president for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Charmaine Reichel Lucas; son, James R. Lucas of Hebron, KY; daughters, Judy (Darren) Beighle of New Richmond, OH, and Joan (Tim) Dunn of Burlington, KY; brother, John (Betty) Lucas of Verona, KY. Also, 6 grandchildren: Abby (Ajay) Ghanta, Danielle and Travis Dunn, Sarah, Dylan and Chad Lucas, and 4 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial, if desired, may be given to the LMHS Alumni Association, 450 Bartlett Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. MIDDENDORF-BULLOCK FUNERAL HOME, Erlanger, is serving the family.
