James Barrett, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 29, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on April 3, 1965, to his parents James and Claudia Barrett.

James leaves his only daughter, Jamaica Barrett, as well as six adoring grandchildren.

James spent many years working at Ford, where he eventually retired in 2010. He had a passion for golf, basketball, and card games, and could often be found enjoying these hobbies in his spare time.

Despite his passing, James will always be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and warm heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
