WilliamsAge: 82 • FishersvilleJames Lee Williams, 82, widower of Evelyn (Curtis) Williams, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 in the Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.Mr. Williams was born on November 6, 1934 in Stamford, Texas, a son of the late Claude and Clara (Davis) Williams.James was a very active member of the Kenevick Baptist Church in Dayton, Texas.  He retired from Witco Chemical Company where he was employed as an operator and prior to his retirement he was retired as a railroad laborer.  Mr. Williams was a Ham Operator and a member of the Valley Group Ham Operators.In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by two brothers.Surviving are three daughters, Lee Harrelson and husband Jerry, Theresa Hogsett and husband Steve, and Beth Crain; a brother, two sisters, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.coffmanfuneralhome.net.
