James L. KrichbaumJames L. Krichbaum, 75, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 5:35 a.m. at Rosewalk Village. James was born on July 22, 1940 in Lafayette to the late John Buskirk and Clara (Stetler) Krichbaum. He married Judith Ann Howard on June 16, 1961 in Boswell, and she preceded him in death on May 9, 1987. James served in the National Guard. He worked as a janitor at Purdue University Elliot Hall of Music for over 10 years before retiring. Surviving are three children, Adam Krichbaum (companion: Cathy) of Lafayette, Jerri Hughes of Lafayette, and Katherine (husband: Kenneth) Herr of Dallas, TX. Also surviving are one sister, Katherine (husband: Leon) Emerson of Pine Village, and 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by one brother, John Marion Krichbaum.Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral Care with Denis Horn officiating.
