James Ricks Jr., a beloved member of the Rocky Mount community, passed away on April 20, 2024, at the young age of 27. He was born on July 15, 1996, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and lived a full and meaningful life.

James was a devoted father to his son, Jay’ceion Amir Cooper, whom he shared with his spouse Disheeka. He was a loving and caring parent who always put his family first.
