Cody Griner, a beloved member of the Panama City community, passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 30. He was born on July 24, 1993, bringing joy and happiness into the lives of his family and friends. Cody called Panama City, Florida, his home, where he left an indelible impact and will forever be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to help in any way possible.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, always placing the needs of others above his own. His selflessness was unmatched, offering a helping hand wherever it was needed. His compassionate nature touched the lives of so many. Cody was an avid adventurer who found solace in the great outdoors. He loved exploring the beautiful landscapes of Florida.

Cody love for life extended to his relationships, and those fortunate enough to know him considered him a true friend. Cody had a huge heart and would do anything he could for anyone. His love for someone was like nothing else. His infectious laughter and warm smile brought joy to everyone around him. He had an innate ability to make others feel seen and valued, and his compassionate nature made him a trusted confidant and a pillar of support. Cody’s sense of humor was both witty and light-hearted, always finding the perfect moment to crack a joke and brighten the room. His absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.

Cody Griner is now with his mom Tanya Griner in heaven and will be profoundly missed by his father, Michael Griner; his sister, Stacy Guidas, his brother Christopher Griner; his extended family Samantha Smith, Brittany Moody and his many nieces and nephews, and host of friends and colleagues who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.

Cody Griner's legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him best and serve as a reminder to live each day with kindness, compassion, and love. As we remember his beautiful spirit, may we carry a piece of him within us forever. He’s now our Angel
