James (Jim) Irving Davis, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family on November 27, 2016 after losing his battle with cancer. Jim was born on September 15, 1946 in Wenatchee, WA to Bessie Rose and James Irving Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patty. He was the love and light of her life. Jim had a magical smile, a contagious laugh and a sense of humor that was appreciated by all. Through his encouraging words and his genuine interest in others, he had a way of making everyone he encountered feel special and significant. Jim was kind and generous, and his warmth will be dearly missed by all. In addition to his beloved wife, Patty, he is survived by his brother Don Davis and wife Suzy, Nephew Greg Davis and husband Larry, Son Chuck Bailie and wife Sallie, Grandchildren Chelsea and Donald Bailie, Daughter Diane Michelle Shipley and husband Eric and Nephews Mike, Doug, Jeff and Larry Davis. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life in the New Year. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in memoriam to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
