James H. "Bo" Calfee, 82, of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his home after a battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on April 20, 1934 in Conroe, Texas, to Gratten and Maggie Calfee. He graduated from Willis High School and served in the United States Army. He was a native of Montgomery County and lived here all of his life as a rancher.

Those left to treasure his memory are his wife Holly, son Keith Calfee, step-daughter Tami Sikes, grandchildren Danielle Calfee Powers and husband Dave and Faith and Colton Sikes, great granddaughter Jessie Powers and loving longtime friend Tino Martinez.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Metcalf Funeral Directors from 12:00pm-2:00pm with funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Cude Cemetery in Willis, TX.

Bo was very active in his community and touched the lives of many with his big heart and love of people and especially kids.

Bo's family would like to thank his caregivers for the last 2 years; Valerie Nicholas, Tina Cornett, and Tracy Sunday. The love and compassion you showed Bo was so reassuring to all of us. Thanks also to Heart to Heart Hospice for being there for us these last few days.
