Mr. Gregory - Age 62, passed away Saturday October 12, 2019 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. Family hour 10:30 Saturday, October 15 , 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Pastor James H. Keys, Sr., Officiating. Interment Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Saturday. Mr. Gregory will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12pm-8pm Monday . 

Mr. Gregory leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Yetta Porter of East St. Louis, IL; grandchildren, Day’Vaunte Gilmore, Carlus Haire, Jr. and Remmie Haire all of East St. Louis, IL; great grandchildren, Day’Vaunte Gilmore, Jr., Cameron and JaVaunte Gilmore; siblings, Josephine Smith of Pontiac, MI, Bonnie Spiller and Donald Trent Marks both of East St. Louis, IL; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Mr. Gregory is preceded in death by: parents, Roosevelt and Dorothy Smith; and siblings, Essie Summerall, Roosevelt Smith Jr., Ruby Henderson and Maurice Marks.
