James "Jim" Frasier, 90MUNCIE - James "Jim" Frasier, 90, died Wednesday morning, December 28, 2016 at Golden Living Center.He was born on August 29, 1926 in Clifty, TN the son of Leslie and Bessie (Britt) Frasier, moved to Muncie as a small child and graduated from Muncie Central High School.Mr. Frasier was a design engineer at Broderick's for thirty eight years prior to his retirement in 1988.He was a member of the Moose Lodge #33, Eagles Aerie #231, Crestview Golf Course, Muncie Bowling Association, and enjoyed fishing and camping. Jim was involved with the Boy Scouts for many years, he was an Eagle Scout, and Assistant Scout Master of Troop 17 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church and achieved the Order of the Arrow and the Wood Badge.Surviving are three sons, James G. Frasier, Jr. (wife, Gloria), Eaton, Jerry Frasier (wife, Mary), Edinburg, and Rodney Frasier (wife, Kim), Muncie; two daughters, Karen Hartshorn (husband, Tom), Vancouver, WA and Sharon Werner (husband, Chris), Chandler; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; his brother, Johnnie Frasier, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of fifty-seven years, Jane; and his sister, Louise Richards.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday or one hour prior to services on Saturday.Memorials may be directed to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice, 2401 W.
