James Winters, better known as "Jim" to family and friends, sadly passed away on April 5th, 2023 at the age of 73.

Jim was born on March 7th, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas, where he lived his entire life. He was known for his contagious sense of humor and always had a joke or witty comment to make those around him laugh. His outgoing personality made him a beloved member of the community, and he will be greatly missed.

Jim was a proud Texas A&M alumni and diehard Aggie fan. He could often be found sporting his maroon and white gear and cheering on the team before the big game.

In his spare time, Jim loved to play golf and go on fishing trips with his buddies. He also had a passion for cooking and was known for his mouth-watering BBQ brisket.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary, his two children, Adam and Sarah, and his three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Jim's honor.
