James Jones, age 80, of Clarksdale, Mississippi, passed away on September 15, 2024. Born on August 1, 1944, James was a beloved member of the community.
He married his loving wife, Georgia Jones, in 1960, and together they had five children: Jennette, Cordale, James Jr., Charles, and Donna. James was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.
James dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a member of the Clarksdale Police Department. He retired in 2015 after a long and successful career.
Outside of his work, James had a passion for fishing and hunting. He found peace and joy in nature and spent many hours pursuing these hobbies.
James will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and community will never be forgotten.
