James Johnson, 74, of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on December 5, 2024.
He was born on July 23, 1950, in the heart of the Magnolia State, and spent his life spreading joy and laughter wherever he went.
James was known for his quick wit, contagious smile, and love for a good game of golf. He always had a joke ready to brighten someone's day and a kind word for everyone he met.
He was survived by his partner Valeria Johnson, with whom he shared a beautiful life and raised five children: Bertha, Kendra, Donnah, Jennifer, and James Jr.
James was also a proud grandparent to five grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the laughter and joy he brought to the world.
