James Deandre Covington, 32, passed on December 23, 2020. James was born to Claude Sajous and Tamara Covington-White in Oakland, California on November 12, 1988.

James was known as the problem solving peacemaker, he always made a way out of no way! He always made you laugh with his wisecracks and uplifting spirit, and contiouslousy showed an abundance of love. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his family, BBQing, exploring and enjoying the outdoors just making memories.

James met his childhood sweetheart Shameka Wilbon 12 years ago and they've been soulmates ever since. Together they raised 2 amazing children Lamont Sanford, Jasmya Covignton. Being a Dad was his life. James was a vibrant and loving man who always looked for the good in everyone, his smile was contigous and lit up any room, he was a devoted Son,Brother.Father and Husband to know him was to love him. He will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.

James will be proceeded in death by: James I. Covington (grandpa) Beatrice M.White (G.Grandma) Hubert White(G.Grandpa), Fred White (G.Uncle)

Survived by: Tamara Covington-white(mother), Cladue Sajous (Father) Eldred Stephenson (brother) Shameka wilbon(wife) Lamont Sanford and Jasmya Covington. (Children) Harold and Vivan Spicer (grandparents), Zane Covignton (Uncle) and Elizabeth Watkins Cole(Aunt) and a host of family and friends.
