James Shaferling, born on October 6, 1938, sadly passed away on January 19, 2025, in Whitewright, Texas.

Known for his lighthearted personality and love for tinkering in his shop, James was a beloved member of the community.

He is survived by his partner, Margie Cheatham, and their three children, Donna Haas, Diane Allen, and David Cheatham.

James also leaves behind seven adoring grandchildren.

Although he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, James.
