A light has dimmed as we announce the passing of James Crimes, born on July 12, 1989 in Dayton, Ohio. Our beloved James passed June 25, 2024. He was the loving son of James Crimes Sr and Marsha Johnson-Crimes, and the proud father of Ja’el Crimes and Jaleeya Crimes.

James will be preceded in death by his father James Crimes Sr.

James, who graduated from Thurgood Marshall High School in 2008, was known for his passion for spending time with his daughters. His hobbies included cherishing every moment with his children spoiling and creating lasting memories with them. To know James is to know his love for his daughters was unmatched.

As we grieve the loss of James remember his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he shared with his family and friends.

Arrangements for James Crimes homegoing will be held July 1,2024 service will began 11am.
