James Allen Reed was born December 22, 1943, in Stockton, CA to Helen Williams and Willie Lee Reed.

James moved to Los Angeles CA, where he attended Markham junior high school. James married twice to Carolyn Ames an later to the love of his life Audrey Martin. James leaves to cherish Four children Danielle, letaunya, Christopher and Alissa. And five grandchildren; Desiree, Brianna, Natalie, Lucinda, and Jazmyn. James worked at Todd shipyard for many years.he was a father devoted husband to his family until our Heavenly Father called him home on August 31st. He had a heart of gold as he gave to charities such as feed the children. he was loved my man An will never be forgotten
