We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of James Toran, who was born on June 14, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan, United States.

James was a loving husband to Johnna Toran, whom he married in 1988, and a devoted father to his four children, James, Jay, Jamie, and Jayla. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

James grew up in Detroit and attended Martin Luther King High School, where he excelled academically and made many lifelong friends. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious sense of humor.

On March 3, 2026, James tragically passed away in a house fire. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

James is survived by his father, James Toran Sr., and his mother, Jennifer Mason. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
