It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Toran, who bravely fought until the very end. He was born on June 16, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan, United States, to James Toran Sr and Jennifer Toran.

James leaves behind a loving family, including his children James, Jay, Jayla, and Jamie. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.

James was a graduate of Martin Luther King High School, class of 1987. He was a dedicated student and always strived for excellence in everything he did.

Tragically, James passed away on March 3, 2026, due to a fire. His courage and strength will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

James Toran will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on through the memories shared by his family and friends.
