We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of James Toran on March 3, 2026, in Detroit, Michigan, United States. He was born on June 29, 1962, to James Toran Sr and Jennifer Williams.

James was a loving husband to Johnna Toran, whom he married in 1984. Together, they raised four wonderful children: James, Jay, Jayla, and Jamie. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

James attended Martin Luther King High School and graduated in 1979. He was a dedicated student and excelled in his studies.

Tragically, James passed away due to a house fire. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and devotion to his family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
