James Carter, 49, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed on October 06, 2023. James was born on August 24, He enjoyed riding four wheelers, going to the lake of the Ozarks, spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grand daughters. James was a Christian. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles "Sonny" Carter, and nephew, Brent hardy. Survivors include mother, Andrea (Donnie) Dunca, St. Joseph, MO, daughter, Kaylee (Renee) Carter, Gillis, Harrisonville, MO, granddaughters, Kallie & Amora Gillis , sisters; Tisha (Matt) Gibbs, and Dawn (Kevin) Novak both of St. Joseph, MO, maternal grandmother, Joyce Scott of Alamo, TX, and his special best friend, Mickey Mackentire, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and numerous friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM, Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home.
