Husband to Priscilla Pearce and proud father of Aaron Pearce, Blake Pearce, and Emily Carter all of whom dearly miss him. James Barefoot was born on August 16, 1983, in Dade City, Florida, to proud parents James Barefoot and Dorothy Boley. He passed away on April 16, 2024, in Zebulon, North Carolina. He is survived in death by siblings Amanda Barefoot, Ben Barefoot, Michael Barefoot, and Elizabeth Barefoot.
As a child, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and tinkering with electronics and machines that had engines. As an adult, he found pleasure in blasting loud music, going to the beach, cooking, fishing, and spending time around a bonfire. He took immense pride in his work as an automotive technician and was the owner of J&W Automotive.
He held a special place in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be truly missed. He was as full of life as he was in mischief. Although James is no longer with us, his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
