James Arrington, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and sports enthusiast, passed away on August 15, 2024, in Alexandria, Virginia at the age of 69.

James, also known as "Jim," was born on March 13, 1955, to Paul and Alice Arrington. He leaves behind his loving wife, two children, Lonnie and Barbara, and four grandchildren’s, Lonnie Arrington JR, Lakeisha Arrington, Megan Arrington and Miles Arrington.

Jim was a graduate of Ballou Senior High School in 1973, where he was known for his love of watching football and baseball. He could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, whether they were winning or losing.

Despite his passion for sports, Jim was also a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first. His quick wit and sense of humor brought laughter to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Jim. May you forever watch over us from the best seat in the house, cheering on your favorite teams in the sky.
