James Ross Obituary

MURRAY, Utah -- James E. Ross, 56, passed away June 17, 2009, at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UtahHe was born May 21, 1953, in Binghamton, N.Y., to Raymond Roger Ross and Beverly Jane Nichols Ross.

He married Susan Marie Brockman in 1974 in La Puenta, Calif. Together they had four children. They were later divorced.

Jim served in the United States Army.

He worked as a Ford auto mechanic.

He was a Christian. Jim was a proud member and sponsor of AA and loved to fly fish and ride motorcycles. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren, Alyssia, James, Joshua, Zoey, Katlyn, Breanna and Ashton.

He is survived by his sweetie, Deana Jo Orgill of Idaho Falls; son, Joseph (Heather) Ross of Idaho Falls; daughters, Christina (John) Wiece and Bernadette (Toby) Crain, both of Idaho Falls; son, Casey Ross of Idaho Falls; brother, Gerald Ross of Hamilton, Mont.; and sisters, Realene Ross of Twenty Nine Palms, Calif., and Jana (John) McGranahan of Bullhead, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Bobby Ross.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Wood Funeral Home, 963 N. Ridge Ave. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services.
