James “jimmy” Jefferson, 71, passed on September 24, 2022. He was born to James and Carmelita in Kansas City, Kansas on November 17, 1950.

He married Sandra and they lived together in Kansas City, Kansas. Together they raised 3 children Lynnn (Leslie), Dell (Sheriee), James jr. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

James graduated from Wyandotte in 1967.

James worked at Gates as a security guard and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
Jimmy was a man who loved board games , music , family outings , and most of all his great grandbabies. You'd often see him going in his pocket to give the kids a dollar for being well behaved or doing good in school , those would be the questions he'd ask, knowing he was going to give them the money anyway. James would often make music compilations for most to rival as a hobby. You'd often see him giving them away for people to have a good time and so they'd see his love for music.
