Jadrien "Jay" Ray Vaughn O'HannonFort Mill, SC - Jadrien "Jay" Ray Vaughn O'Hannon, 38, of Fort Mill, SC went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2017. He was born on November 27, 1978 to Sheena and Daniel O'Hannon in Asheville, NC. Jay graduated from Asheville High School in 1997. He continued his education by obtaining his AAS degrees in both Culinary Arts and Business Administration. Jay was a light in the life of all that knew him, especially to his wife and children, of which he was so very proud. Jay loved to cook, not only for work, but for his family and friends. He also enjoyed joking around and making the people closest to him smile. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ. Jay truly loved the Lord.Jay is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Evangelists Bernice O'Hannon and Nina Sullivan. In addition to his parents, Jay is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Mary Larisa Davis O'Hannon; sons, Isaiah Ray Vaughn O'Hannon and Gabriel O'Hannon; his step-mother, Latanya O'Hannon, brother, Daniel Washington(Ana) O'Hannon, grandfather, Bishop James O'Hannon Jr. and four step-siblings. Also left behind to cherish his memory is his niece, Alyssa Randolph; nephews Jayden and Elijah O'Hannon; aunts, uncles, cousins and many others from the Davis and Woodruff families that will dearly miss him. Services will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at Mills Chapel Baptist Church 328 Cragmont Road Black Mountain, NC 28711. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Penland's Family Funeral Home 125 South Avenue Swannanoa, NC 28778. Arrangements entrusted to Asheville Mortuary Services.
