Jacqueline RichardsonMay 29, 1940 - May 18, 2016Jacqueline (Jacque) Richardson died of natural causes on May 18th, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 75. She was born on May 29th, 1940, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Thomas Stanley (Stan) Richardson and Ora Peterson, the oldest of four children. She spent most of her youth in Blackfoot, where she was raised by her beloved step-mother, Doris Story Richardson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents and helping out at the family restaurant. Jacqueline served an LDS mission in Florida and graduated from Utah State University in 1961. Jacqueline married Jay Lewis Mason in Idaho Falls in August 1962. They were later divorced. They were blessed with five children - Clint, Charlie, Michelle, Calvin, and Greg. Jacque had a great passion for education and taught school for many years in both Idaho and Utah. She loved horses, camping, fishing, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jacque loved her family, was very interested in genealogy and enjoyed sharing stories about her predecessors. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother , Bruce Ness, and granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Mason. She is survived by her children; Clinton Jay Mason (Michelle), Charles Stanley Mason (Amy), Michelle Doris Grimaud (Chris), Calvin William Mason (Megan), and Gregory Keith Mason; brothers, Thomas Richardson and Gregory Mern Richardson, and also many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss her generous heart and her lively, entertaining presence.
