BURLINGTON - Jacqueline R. Kuchenbecker, 75 passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Aurora Burlington Hospital. She was born on December 12, 1936 in Lancaster to the late John and Rose (nee Graf) Rogers. Jacqueline spent her early life in Montfort and Fennimore and was a graduate of Fennimore High School. She was an active teenager, enjoying ice skating and swimming. Jacqueline had been a lifeguard at Montfort Swimming Pool and played trombone in the high school marching band. After graduating from high school, she went on to attend a year at Platteville State College. On January 21, 1956 in Fennimore, Jacqueline was united in marriage to Ronald Kuchenbecker. Following marriage they resided in Fennimore for 4 years and Lake Geneva for 6 years, before making their home in Burlington in 1967. Although she suffered 2 strokes in 1995 and 1996 she remained in good spirits and enjoyed dining out and leisurely rides. Jacqueline was an avid reader until macular degeneration curtailed it, but still enjoyed old television shows and playing trivia. She often enjoyed her Wednesday activities at the Chestnut Club Day Care and had a love of cats. Survivors include her loving husband, Ronald Kuchenbecker, of Burlington, their children; John (Kim) Kuchenbecker of Burlington and Rhonda (Tom) Ebbers of Verona and by grandchildren; Alex Ebbers of Milwaukee, Matthew Kuchenbecker of Burlington and Megan Kuchenbecker of Burlington. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation for Jacqueline will be held at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Burlington Cemetery.
