PALATINE - Jacqueline Kashmere was born on May 8, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Lucille (nee Anderson) Wise. She died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family. Jacqueline raised her family in Arlington Heights prior to retiring to the Northwoods of Wisconsin. There she spent 15 years enjoying the serenity of her lake home; before moving back down to Illinois 3 years ago. She worked in accounting for the State of Illinois. In her free time she enjoyed reading and collecting owls. Jacqueline is survived by her children, Cheryl A. (Donald F.) Perrin, Lynn A. (Stephen R.) Brown, and Daniel A. (Jamie S.) Kashmere, grandchildren, Nathan A. Jensch, Kyle S. Brown, Eric S. Brown, and Dylan S. Brown, siblings, Judith (Charles) Terrile, and John (Peggy) Wise. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon A. Kashmere and her parents. Visitation Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois. where sharing of remembrances will take place at 4:00 pm.
