Jacqueline Moss Fetzer1940-2015Jacqueline Moss Fetzer, beloved daughter, sister, friend, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and teacher, passed away Sunday, the 29th of November 2015. She was born on the 26th of December 1940 in Houston, raised in San Antonio, and lived and worked in Pennsylvania until 1993. She married Robert David Fetzer in 1994, prior marriage to Claude Gittinger.In her younger years, she attended Thomas Jefferson HS, San Antonio, where she graduated in 1958. She remained in San Antonio and completed her BS in 1962, and MEd in 1964 at Trinity University.Prior to retirement, Jackie was the Principal at Upper Merion Middle School in King of Prussia, PA, which she helped to design and open. She was elected to "The Wall of Fame" for exemplary service in education in Pennsylvania. In later years, Jackie worked as a volunteer at St. Martin's Episcopal Church and loved working with special needs children. Jackie loved God, her children, grandchildren, family, friends, golf and bridge.Jackie is now reunited with her parents, David Jackson and Louise Blanchette Moss; husband, Robert David Fetzer; son, Daryl Jackson Gittinger; sister, Valerie Jean (Jill) Moss Fetzer; and her step-son/nephew, Moss Kerr Fetzer. She is survived by her daughter, Shawn Renn and husband David; her son, Lance Gittinger and wife Irina; her step-daughter/niece, Christine Marie Fetzer; and her grandchildren, William, Dylan, Ian and Colin Renn and Alexander, Alysa and Ashly Gittinger.Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening on Thursday, the 3rd of December, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. The funeral service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 4th of December in the Sanctuary of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to the , www.cancer.org.
