Jacobi Nysear Hammond , 10, passed on March 29, 2021. He was born to Marquel Hammond and Percilla Hammond in Yonkers,New York, on January 15, 2011.

Together they raised 1 child.

Jacobi was suppose graduate from elementary school year of 2022. It's sad to know as a mother my child will not be able to graduate

Jacobi enjoyed playing basketball and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. He also volunteered to provide food for the homeless every Sunday after church service. Jacobi always kept a big smile on his face and encouraged others to stay positive. When Jacobi was born he had some complications due to having a heart murmur and Jacobi was immediately sent to ICU for surgery. Jacobi was a very strong and handsome youngman. Jacobi had began to have complications with his chest a week before he past away. One evening while playing nask outside with his neighborhood friends he just dropped to the ground. We called the ambulance immediately but Jacobi was pronounced dead at the scene
