Jacob Meeks, beloved husband of Selena Meeks, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was born on August 3, 1965, in the same city where he lived a full and vibrant life.
Jacob attended Timberland High School and continued his studies at UNC Chapel Hill. He was a dedicated member of the Air Force, serving as a Sergeant in the 95B unit for 20 years.
Outside of his military service, Jacob was passionate about helping others and volunteered with the Feeding the Homeless organization. He enjoyed playing basketball in his free time and always had a smile on his face.
Jacob is survived by his children, Shon Meeks Sr. and Ashonte Meeks, and his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
