Jackie Phillips, 61, of Mountain Pine, Arkansas, left this world on August 12, 2023. He passed after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension as a result of Covid.

He was born in Joplin, Missouri to Joanne and Earl Phillips. He worked at the Top Of The Mountain Shell Station for 17 years where he met so many wonderful people that became lifelong friends. He never met a stranger. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and enjoyed doing it with others.

He leaves behind his wife, Avonda, of 24 years, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, and a special brother in law.

On his death bed, he made a special request to have a cook out and celebrate his life together. As a result, his memorial will be held August 26 at Avery Park in Mountain Pine AR at 3:00pm. It will be a cookout to honor his wishes and anyone that would like to bring their favorite dish is welcome to. Family and friends are encouraged to come and celebrate him.
