We are sad to announce the passing of Jack Ivie, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and all-around character. Born on May 28, 1936, in St Louis, Missouri, Jack was the son of Joe Ivie and Nancy Nobelton.

Jack married the love of his life, Tony Ivie, in 1984 and together they raised a beautiful and chaotic family of eight children: Bernard, James, Gina, Sheryl (who married John Thomas), Niki, Monty, Connie, and Ella.

Jack had a knack for humor and a love for golfing and shooting pool. He also served in the Air Force, proudly defending his country. He studied at Gibson County High School, graduating in 1954 with flying colors. Jack lived a full and colorful life, always ready with a joke or a witty remark.

He passed away on June 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. Jack will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now cracking jokes in the great beyond.
