Jack Rubenstein1936 - 2013Jack Rubenstein, 77, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Manor Care.He was born on April 17, 1936, to the late Abraham and Elaine (Kaplan) Rubenstein in Kenosha. He was educated at Roosevelt Elementary, McKinley Jr. High and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School where he was a basketball star and proudly wore his letter jacket.Jack was in the U.S. Air Force for four years playing on the All United Kingdom Basketball Selection Team.Jack owned and operated Rubys Restaurant with his brother Marvin for many years, he also worked at American Motors Corp. Jack umpired many, many softball leagues over the years.Jack is survived by his brother. Michael Rubenstein and his sister, Ellen (Richard) Brooks both of Silicon Valley, Calif.
